Darcy, a Canadian guy I met in Ecuador offered to show me round some of the Kootenays region in Canada where he lives. He collected me from Kelowna and gave me a guided tour back to Christina Lake his hometown. We stopped along the way at a Winery, had a few samples, also trying some ice wine which Canada is famous for, being the largest producer in the world. This is due to its climate being ideal in many areas. Ice wine is made by the grapes being frozen resulting in a very very sweet flavour, like a desert wine. It tasted amazing,...
