Friday, March 11, 2011 Absence of Time Apartment, Queen Charlotte City, Haida Gwaii Another eventful week. Students did presentations on consultation and accommodation, economic development and forest tenure. I finished the week talking about cultural research in forest management. And then we had a great array of guest speakers/visitors. Monday we had Tom Olsen join us to talk about the Council of the Haida Nation business HaiCo which is involved with energy, forestry, aquaculture and tourism ventures.
