We’re excited to be going to Dawson Creek, since that’s Milepost 0, the official start of the Alaska Highway. Today the scenery changed again. We started o ut leaving the wide open spaces for a deciduous forest dotted with few conifers. So what we see today is bright Kelly green hillsides dotted with dark patches: quite the reverse of what we saw in the Fraser River Canyon.
