Aug 6, 2015 - Twisty roads equal smiles on our face

Day 14 – Keith The day started out with both of us relieved that we were not hung over. I headed to the showers to test them out before Leah got out of bed. After Leah got up were headed to the social area for a cup of coffee. Mary had an urn of coffee blended by a local roaster in Nelson specially for Toad Rock. May 6, 2008 - B.C.'s Kootenays

When we were in Mexico we met so many folks from British Columbia and more specifically from the Kootenays. So we thought it would be fun to pay some of our new traveller friends a visit and explore the Kootenays at the same time. And having poured way too much money into our gas tank, we were looking for a nice place to settle in B.C. while waiting for my son , Simon, to deliver our car from Montreal. This way we'd have a more affordable means to explore the B.C. lower mainland and interior. And this is how we happened upon the little...
