Mar 12, 2013 - Impressions of Cameroon

Impressions of Cameroon Summarised, our impressions of Cameroon are: red and green; friendly people; rich heritage; beautiful fruits and vegetables; tough meat; and the oldest clapped out cars still running. Plus the bus was...

Jan 14, 2009 - Doula

Well arrived safely last night to Doula in Cameroon after a very early start flying from London via Paris to Doula. Was delayed in Paris due to a faulty wheel which was only spotted just before take off (wasn't that how Concrode crashed in Paris? _ does nothing for my giving up smoking!). Anyway they changed it and I got here later than planned. Big culture shock as over 30 degrees when landed at 7pm at night only for the hotel to not bother picking me up from the airport. A doggie transaction with the local police got me into a safe taxi...
