Hello all! As mentioned previously, we met a couple who had spent some time volunteering in an orphanage a few hours from Phnom Phen. We left for the Takeo in the mid afternoon on a small local mini bus. ... I dont know anyone that would pass their baby to a complete stranger to play with, but they just dont worry about that kind of thing I guess? Arrived in Takeo after a few hours and made our way to a guesthouse which wasnt the nicest seeing that we were roomates with about 1000 ants but we sucked it up and got through it. ... On my own again I decided the best way to get to Cambodia was to do a 3 day tour through the Mekong Delta - always a great way to meet people even if it was a bit tiring - 3 days of continuous changing of boats and buses with numerous stops at different factories along the way (rice paper, toffee, pop corn, coconut candy etc etc, you name it and we saw it!)
