We came to Criuva meaning to camp and horseride here - instead, we've spent a wonderful 4 days with a lovely family, enjoying LOTS of fantastic food and great experiences. We did camp on the first night - but after walking 6km back to the town for food, and only just rescuing our tent from the thunderstorm (we're not being that lucky with campsites - first it snows, and now thunder!!), we thought we'd stay in the family's pousada instead! When we first got back to Casa Verde (after our 6km walk!), it was raining, and rather than leave us...
