Dec 16, 2011 - Iguazu

This is without a doubt the most spectacular place on EARTH!! The gigantic waterfalls, made up of about 30 different waterfalls all spanning across a large gorge are truly spectacular. We visited both the Argentinian side where we are staying in a fantastic hotel called Jardin de Iguazu and also the Brazilian side yesterday afternoon. WOW!!! Incredible place!! I think that Queen Victoria was right when she said ...¨makes Niagra look like a tiny stream¨. We took a boat trip out and got soaked, but it was well worth it to be virtually...

Nov 18, 2009 - Brazil - Iguassu Falls

OMG!!! Overnight bus was literally hell on wheels. We've decided they should market it as a mobile weight-loss sauna. Oct 27, 2007 - Iguacu - Brazil

Iguacu was absolutely breathtaking. The Helicopte flight was very short, but a fantastic view. The argentinian side was the best, getting so close to the waterfalls, breathtaking. I did the speedboat going almost under a waterfalls, again short but worth it. The Argentinian side is definitely the better side. I have taken so many picture, you always think you get a better one than the previous one. We did another boat trip along the river, because it was very hot, it was nice having our feet hanging in the cold water. The guide suggested to...

Heidi's SA Trip

Aug 16, 2006 - Foz de Iguasu, Brazil

To get to here from Ihla Grande required a long day of travel, but it was all very straightforward. We got a bus from the quay side where the ferry dropped us, to Rio bus station. From here we got a taxi to the airport and then took a Gol flight to Curitiba and from there to Foz de Iguasu. We had organised for hotel del Rey to collect us at the airport so by 1.30am we were happilly in our very comfy beds after a long day! The next morning we got up and gorged ourselves on the generous breakfast buffet in the hotel. The weather was a little...
