That sounds really cool, but trust me, it's not as great as it sounds. We drove up to Nata (luckily, today it was just the four of us so we spread out and had a much more comfortable van) while our driver told us about the culture of Botswana: -a huge exporter of diamonds (and a major gold exporter as well) Botswana has the second best economy in Africa. ... We arrived in Nata, which was just a campground (there's not really a town there at all) and met up with the group we'd be travelling with the rest of the time on our trip: there was Stephen, also an American exchange student at UCT, 3 girls from England, a man from Argentina, and two girls from Holland. ... It was a really fun group, but a bit of a challenge to assimilate (they had all been in the same place together for the first 4 days so we were a bit outside for a while)We also met our tour guide, David, who was amazing. That sounds really cool, but trust me, it's not as great as it sounds.
