May 18, 2006 - Samaipata - In the Cloud Forest

18/5 We take special taxi to Samaipata. Share this with a family of 5. The ride takes 2 hours. We pass through the outskirts of the cloud forest. Ride was perfect, the views were great, but we could not stop anywhere to take photos. Never mind we'll do it tomorrow. They day was sunny and nothing could go wrong. Or could it..? Driver drops us of at a hotel just by the plaza. It is 50Bs a night with a little kitchen. Nice little town with views of the surrounding forest. As the weather is so good we consider a 2 day trip.
