Von San Pedro kommt man am besten über die Grenze nach Bolivien, indem man eine Jeep-Tour durch die Wüste Südboliviens nach Uyuni macht. Jan 5, 2007 - Day 2: Laguna Colorada, Bolivia

This day was essentially a full day of driving from site to site (Actually, the whole tour was a lot of sitting in the back of a dusty, bumpy vehicle and watching the scenery go by). Our drive ended at Laguna Colorada, a basic mining/military camp and our accommodation for the evening. ... A night of fellowship ensued with Lars providing music and song in German and Spanish, me providing the beer, and the Spaniards providing the smokes (I was the only non-smoker in the group). This day was essentially a full day of driving from site to site (Actually, the whole tour was a lot of sitting in the back of a dusty, bumpy vehicle and watching the scenery go by). Mar 20, 2006 - Salar de Uyuni (Uyuni salt flats and more)

To say that this four day trip was an attack on the senses is an understatement! The combined 3 hour bus ride and 7 hour train journey to Uyuni was well worth the time and the effort! Being hounded by what felt like all of the 54 tour operators at the train station on arrival at 23:30, we realised that it wouldn't be difficult to get onto a trip, so decided to book first thing in the morning. To say that this four day trip was an attack on the senses is an understatement!
