We spent the last ten days with our family at their home at the Chateau du Rouveroy about 20 miles south of Mons, Belgium. Our excuse for the trip is to help them put in their garden. The Chateau is in a small village of ten to fifteen homes and a church surrounded by plush farmland. The Chateau has been restored by a doctor and his doctor wife who converted it all into apartments without distorting the charm of the old chateau. Oct 24, 2013 - Week One Belgium

We have been in Belgium for a week and finely getting over jet-lag. Sarah and Shawn’s home is about 20 Kilometers south of Mons which is an hour by train south of Brussels and is 2-3 K north of the French Border. They live in a converted Chateau (Castle) Chateau de Rovueroy, built in 1782. The main building now has four apartments.
