Day 6 Hooray!! I slept through till 5am this morning, hopefully this is the start of something new. As we prepared to leave in the morning heavy clouds blew across the hotel and rain started. We knew that the forecast was for 6C in the morning and a maximum of 12C with showers but hadn't counted on the first shower before we even started. Wilbert delayed the start to let people change into wet weather gear and to give the band of rain a chance to pass over. Aug 3, 2007 - Belgium

Belgium, Isabelle's birth country, treated us to glorious weather and such a warm welcome from all our relatives. We spent our 5 days at Tante Celine's home and she just couldn't do enough for us. We were invited out for dinner every single night save for the last when we enjoyed a splendid meal in a Chateau. Pat and I ran a bit to stay trim as we could feel the calories making their way to our hips (well, at least mine anyway). At Cousin Philip's house we toured his wine cellar two stories deep and stocked with no fewer than 1000 bottles...
