Yesterday David and Elizabeth took me for a drive along the coast of Adelaide, to see some of the beaches. ... Today I went out with Tim and Stephanie who took me to Adelaide City, where we walked along the river for a bit and around the main streets, stopping at a chocolate shop along the way- it was a new experience, because the chocolate would melt if you took it outside, the shop looks like a little cafe and you buy your chocolates and get them on a little tray and sit and eat them there. ... We went and had a quick look in the Adelaide Art Gallery to have a look at the art by Australians, and most were very easy to spot as they tended to contain a lot of red! The city of Adelaide is completely surrounded by parklands, some of which are just grassy parks(although due to the hot weather most of the grass is dead) and some of which are gardens, ranging from rose gardens to the japanese garden, which we visited today. ...
