Jeff Our journey today would give us a chance to travel the coast road leading to Lancelin which is the town above Sea Bird. This would ensure we were well placed to join the rally tomorrow. Jul 2, 2005 - Surfing at Lancelin

Another of the must do's crossed off the list as today I went up the coast to surf. I picked a great weekend to learn as the weather resembled a good summers day back in England and the conditions were perfect. Also I was fortunate enough to get one-on-one coaching as there were only two of us learning, a real bonus in itself. I had an absolutely fantastic time and managed to progress through the different boards quite quickly ending up on a 'mini mal' a fibreglass surfboard.
