Feb 10, 2006 - Off to Perth
Well I have had a chance to explore Sydney and I love it. I saw so much in such a short time. I saw the Opera house, Sydney brige, China town, Manley island, Sydney harbour, the rocks and so much more. I just spent the morning at Bondi Beach, it was beautiful but far to busy for me. So with things being a little to expensive and very busy I am off to see Sara in Perth. I fly out this evening. Once I get to Sara's I will be able to download some of my pictures for everyone to see.Jump to full entry
Jul 1, 2005 - Wiped out on the west coast
Finally recovering from bad case of 'flu (and proper flu at that, not man flu AKA a bad cold), so all plans for Perth pretty much went out of the window. Number 5 Backpack Hunchback A debilitating back ache cause by excessive clothes, shoes and books in your backpack... generally due to an excess of 22kg that is allowed on most flights This Ailment can be made worse by staying in hostels that use the 'foam type' matresses which squash to mush when you lay on...Jump to full entry
Feb 23, 2005 - Perth... FINALLY!
G'day all! Well, finally in Western Australia (WA), after a month on the road (can you believe it's already been a month?!?). Flew to Perth through Adelaide on Tuesday - bought a postcard so I can say I was there! By the end of this trip I realized I will have been in every mainland state in Australia - kind of cool. Haven't even been to every province in Canada which is kind of embarrassing! Annie and Casey met met at the airport - everyone on the plane was laughing as Annie and I squealed and jumped around - so excited to see her, my best...Jump to full entry
