After taking the dogs for a walk around the ‘long’ bush walk, then saying good bye to Allan and Ruth (again!), we went for a tourist drive through the forest. It was identified on the map as a ‘Karri Forest Explorer Drive’. We found the first part OK and first stop was at Beedelup Falls in the Beedelup National Park where there is a suspension bridge over the river so it is almost as if you are walking over the falls. Oct 26, 2016 - Manjimup to Northcliffe

After a very peaceful night in the forest, we continued on our journey towards Windy Harbour. As well as driving through forest we drove through cherry and plum orchards and more wineries. Just for something different, the country around Manjimup is also truffle and marron country! Unfortunately, neither are in season at the moment, so I am yet to taste these supposed delicacies!
