DAY: 1 Joondalup – Kirkalocka station I was really exited in the morning of the big trip. It was about 10:20am when we left Joondalup. It was about 30 minutes into the trip and we saw two massive over sized trucks. Dad talked to the truck drivers and had to pull over and let the two massive trucks pass us. The boys love getting the soccer ball out for a quick kick. We did the same at Mount...

July 6th Not a lot of sleep last night, Paynes Find, which only consists of a tavern/roadhouse/caravan park, doesn’t have Western Power so it has its’ own generator…….. and it was generatin’ all night….about 50 metres from our camper. Woke in the early hours to the light patter of rain on the tent, not heavy but consistent, still raining when we got up. Decided not to do brekky in the camper instead walked over to the dining room and sat down so some one could wait on us. A bit extravagant but didn’t feel like getting all the stuff out in...
