May 2, 2010 - Farm stay! Wooooo!

From the hustle and bustle of the city, we headed a few hundred kilometres inland to Kellerberrin for a farm stay on my Uncle and Aunt’s enormous farm. It was a welcome contrast to the noise and population of the city, with the wide open spaces and the slower pace of country living to undo the stress of the previous week. Steve thoroughly enjoyed getting up early and going out on the huge machines, learning all about the workings of a large scale farm. Wheat, canola, lupins and barley were the main crops grown there, battling the extremes...
