Have a look at the pics, do they remind you of anyone? On the road to Albany and I think I was the victim of a joke played by WA roads. ... Not pushing our luck we headed straight for the van park in Albany. ... Albany is significantly bigger than we expected it to be. ...

Nov 6, 2009 - Day 108 – Pemberton – Rain …… finally
First up this morning we headed into the National Park, D’Entrecasteaux National park to be precise. For plan B we drove back into Pemberton and back out into another part of the D’Entrecasteaux NP. ... As we were doing the scenic walks around Point D’Entrecasteaux we did get a few showers so we headed back to the car and back into Pemberton. ... On the way back we passed Mount Chudalup which is a weird, almost Uluru shaped rock (grey not red) rising out of the ground in the middle of the coastal plains.First up this morning we headed into the National Park, D’Entrecasteaux National park to be precise. Nov 5, 2009 - Day 107 – Cowarmarup to Pemberton – Finally heading East
Without any fanfare we took the turnoff to Pemberton. ... The van park we have chosen in Pemberton is fantastic. ... Once set up and fed we headed (literally) around the corner ,to the Pemberton tramway company who operate a tram (and a big steam engine on weekends) up through the Karri forests (it’s a type of tree – a really big tree) that surround Pemberton. ... Arriving back at the van park we were happy to see that Rosie and Flynn (and parents Nicola and Steve) had decided to accelerate their plans and join us in Pemberton. ...

Nov 1, 2009 - Day 103 – Bunbury to Cowarmarup – “Cowtown”
As we went to sleep last night we were conflicted as to whether to listen to the race caller calling the horse races at the track opposite us or the ring announcer who seemed to only have one word, “woohoo”, when commentating on the circus to the side of us. Arriving in Cowaramup, (it’s too hard to pronounce so the locals call it cow-town) we set up in our van park. ... This would have to be one of the best van parks we have had for us and the boys.As we went to sleep last night we were conflicted as to whether to listen to the race caller calling the horse races at the track opposite us or the ring announcer who seemed to only have one word, “woohoo”, when commentating on the circus to the side of us.
