Mar 9, 2008 - Mornington - Rest Day (very lazy)

Day 16 - Okm! The Saundersons and Johnsons took me on a guided tour of Melbourne - particularly enjoyed the excursion to the sofitel skyscraper where debs and steve had insider knowhow that you could get some amazing views of melbourne from the restrooms in the upperfloors of the building, so for hopefully the only time in my life i took a few pictures next to the urinal of MCG (Melbourne cricket ground) the Australian Open tennis courts, and the ocean just to the south of the city.Day 16 - Okm! Day 15 - Okm by bike (but ran as far away from the bike on foot as possible) Michelle, along with her two kids Lauren and James treated me to a tour of Shell's childhood hometown Somers before heading along the Mornington coast to a spot called Arthur's Seat for panoramic views of the penninsula and some amazing roads, which i have to confess i wouldnt have minded cycling down (just not up). ...

Day 13 - 90km - Mornington They say you can have all four seasons in one day in Victoria and i got an idea of that today. ... After passing the same trendy cafes of Mornington (once or twice) in looking for Michelles house it allowed for great views of the ocean just the otherside of the cycle lane. ...
