Woke up early (yet somehow very comfortable and dry in our new tent!) and set off on day 2 of our Great Southern Touring Route Adventure. We headed north from Warrnambool to the Grampians National Park. We stopped first at the visitors centre to buy a camping permit then visited the various viewpoints and rock formations around the park. Apr 9, 2008 - Great ocean road and Grampions

First day and we are off along the famous great ocean road. The first stop I think is for the benefits of the shops as it is the surfing capitol and has all the surf retail outlet shops. If I had money I would have gone crazy but with very little and still so much to see I just window shopped. Yep believe it or not, I bought nothing!!!! With Tourque’s shops you have to have a famous surfing beach near by and just down the road is Bells beach, where all the famous surfing competitions are held.
