Well - they are giving us a new canvas cover for our beds instead of checking whether they are properly water protected. So, bonus! ... Oops - didn't happen - just new water protection. We spent the night at Stan cousin Tony's house, with his wife Georgia and daughter, Natalia. Very lovely hospitality. Strange to not be sleeping in the van. Also caught up with Uncle Slavko and Aunty Nada, and cousin Susie. The boys went with Georgia and Natalia to Natalia's school art exhibition. Felt v. grown up!

Jan 20, 2008 - Mornington, Frankston and the Dandenongs

We arrived back to Melbourne today and headed out to little Will's 1st birthday party. That evening we headed out to Moonlight Sanctuary for a night walk by torchlight. This was a lot of fun. The tour lasted about an hour and a half and we got to see tons of wallabies, pademelons, betons and birds up close and we got to feed them by hand. We also got to see lots of possums, gliders and other marsupials in enclosures. It was a good evening and very atmospheric going around by torch light.
