The Cape Hauy hike on the Tasman Peninsula was the most spectacular of those we've done on Tasmania. The only drawback was that the return was via the same trail; been there, seen it, except for a few views which weren't seen on the outbound as you don't tend to walk backwards ! In some places I was hesitant to walk forward, let alone backwards; the side of the trail, without any safety rails in sight (or more importantly at hand), was hundreds of feet straight down to the pounding surf against the granite cliff sides. Feb 17, 2010 - Tasmania-Hobart & Richmond

Today we rented a van and went with three other folks we met on the cruise. We first stopped at Bonorong a wild life conservatory. Healing many of the wounded animals. We got to feed some of the kangaroos (there were three different kinds) pet a little Koala and of course the Tasmanian Devil. The park was so natural with animals running everywhere. After that we took a ride through Richmond another great little town north of Hobart. On the way back we stopped at a winery for some coffee and wine tasting.
