A lovely blue sky and warm day - what a change. We headed about 16kms south to a small and quirky place called Ida Bay. Here is an old tram line that was once part of the limestone industry. You catch a little train and travel the 7kms down to the beach and back again through forest and it is a terrific ride. Talk about popular - in an out of the way place there were people everywhere. We then headed north to Geeveston for a bit to eat and to do some grocery shopping before travelling the 28kms out through the forest to the Tahune air walk...
