We woke up to heavy rain, which made us sleep in until our 7:30 breakfast. Unfortunately, the rain prevented us from taking pictures of the grounds, which were wonderful! Tonia had mapped out the route for us to go to our next stop, but since we had all day and no more birds to look for, we took the long way. It rained off and on all day. The big attraction to see on the way we drove was Cradle Mountain. When we reached the viewpoint, it was completely fogged in. Dec 14, 2012 - Mount Field National Park

We didn't really want to leave Inala, but our time had come. We had spent three wonderful and magical days on Bruny Island. We had to agree that the book, "Fifty Places to Go Birdwatching Before You Die," was spot on with their recommendation of Tonia and Inala on Bruny Island. We caught the 10:00 am ferry back from Bruny Island. We drove an hour north of Hobart to Mount Field National Park. Within ten minutes, we found the Pink Robin, high in the canopy.
