Jan 9, 2012 - Maria Island climb/scramble to Bishop and Clerk

We awoke to blue skies with white puffy clouds but quite a strong wind so we got up early and dashed a 7km car journey, to Triabunna jetty to see if we could catch a ferry over to Maria Island for the day. We successfully managed to catch a small motorboat ferry (only 7people max) at 9am and it was a very exciting bouncy 45min ride through the waves before we reached a small jetty at Darlington on Maria Island.
