May 1, 2012 - Hancocks Lookout near Wilmington
30th April Left Moorook early this morning. Stopped at the Wakerie Bakery for breakfast before heading to the ferry across the Murray. Passed through several small towns on our way to Peterborough, where we stopped for lunch. Arrived at Hancocks Lookout at about 3 pm where we set up for our overnight stop.Well worth the 7kms. of dirt road when we saw the views of Spencer Gulf. The sunset was amazing, superb colours, as I hope you can see in the photos.Then the lights af Whyalla and Port Augusta at night, and the magnificent stars, ahhhh...
