07/10-08/10 We weren’t sad to leave the caravan park at all, it was the smallest space we had been in, in a long time, so with a big Hooray we took off towards Warooka for a free camp, well, a donation only camp on their sports oval we were the only ones there. Everything you need again except power and we gave $5 per night donation, we stayed for two nights. The first day we just wandered around town and checked things out, everything was closed as it was the end of the long weekend. Small town with a butcher, IGA, petrol station, chemist...

Apr 21, 2013 - Welcome to the bottom end

Rain, rain, rain and more rain. Still the farmers need it and they say that around here it hasn't rained since August last year. We left the Inland Sea Restaurant rest area for the town of Warooka nearby and had breakfast while we watched the rain. After that we went to a very picturesque Uniting church and joined in with their service. The minister's message was taken from John 10:22-30. 'They didn't believe Jesus when he said 'I and the Father are one.' There are people who hear his voice and know him. To hear and to know is to follow....

Apr 20, 2013 - Inland Sea

The beach goes as far as the eye can see and we took our bikes down on to the beach and cycled for a very long way. David continued to ride along the beach till he was a little dot on the horizon. I was a little nervous waiting for him on my own on the beach and eventually turned for home till I saw him riding back again and we cycled back together. We have had a lovely time here but decided to move on in mid afternoon. It was only as we moved away that we realised how many campers were around but not on the headland. Someone moved...
