Today as we drive to down to the Yorke Peninsular, we celebrate our 21st Wedding Anniversary. We celebrated eating Cornish pasties, coffee and cake for lunch. Finally arrived at Stansbury where we will stay for 3 days. Very wet and gale force winds when we arrived. We were given a site behind the ablution blocks and is well protected. From here we will go out each day and travel. Today Fri we travelled to Corny Point the most southern part of the York Peninsular. Travelling Gypsies

Mar 14, 2013 - Stansbury

As we have been a little concerned about where we are going to stay over Easter we have been driving all over the Yorke Peninsular trying to find a spot to stay. We were going to stay in the Innes National Park but we have been told by a number of people that the National Parks get very busy with a lot of yobbo type of people over the Easter period. We are leaving Stansbury tomorrow and booked in to Marion Bay Caravan Park for a week, then we are going into the National Park for about a week (where we will be without phone and email) then...

Mar 12, 2013 - Stansbury

We left Black Bay this morning and headed to Stansbury (a whole 39km's away). We called the park this morning to see if we could book in as this park, the Stansbury Foreshore Park is heavily booked. You can be waiting 30 years for a booking for any of the peak periods,YES 30 YEARS This park is very nice and we were able to get a booking for 3 days on a seafront bay, it is tough but someone has to do it !!! (See the first photo) It is very hot today, around 39 deg at the moment, and blowing a gale so it is a bit uncomfortable. Apparently...
