Fairly quiet day today. After taking the dogs for a short morning walk, Ian went off to join in with the locals on the jetty fishing whilst I did a quick load of washing and caught up with my journal. After lunch we went for a drive around town (didn't take long! ), but we had been told that there were a lot of oyster farms in Smoky Bay and that you could usually buy oysters fresh from the farmers. May 8, 2014 - Mambray Creek to Haslem (towards the Nullabore)

Thursday 8th May We were up reasonably early so we are on the road at 8am. Headed through Port Augusta and on to the Eyre Hwy. We stopped at Iron Knob for a bite to eat and a cuppa, then off we go. Steph has been doing a little bit of driving over the last few days. We are not sure where we are going to stop but we will be free camping somewhere.
