Waking up early again, I made the bed and tidied up,we have such an organised routine that works well,we're not in each other's way in such a small space. We decided not to have breakfast until we got to Port Augusta where we found a great spot by the water, bacon and eggs on toast were on the menu and a nice hot cup of tea which we had while sitting at the park tables looking out to sea,a couple doing there early morning walk stopped to talk to us, it's quite a nice place a lot cleaner than I remembered 16 years ago. 2016 holiday

Oct 14, 2013 - Across the Nullarbor (part 3)

(Ben) Today began with dividing up the remaining fresh fruit and veg between all family members, and eating as much of it as possible before we reached Ceduna around midday. We did pretty well really, only having to throw out one small bag, and it must be the healthiest dietary start to the day our family has ever had! Just before we reached Ceduna the odometer clicked over 20000km for the trip so far - go you good Tarago and little Old Bess! Sep 30, 2011 - Day Five - Ardrossan to Port Germein

Sorry we couldnt post last night, we didnt have any broadband and or mobile service! Well the song "Rain rain go away, come again another day," has been on repeat, as all we have had today is rain and more bloomin rain! We left Ardrossan and cut across the pennisula to Moonta to see the famous Moonta Mines, the cornish inspired homes and of course to enjoy a cornish pastie (the region is reknown for them). The best pastie we have ever had! Moonta also offered some amuzing signs....Fair Dinkum Cafe and Patisserie - we thought the words fair...
