May 4, 2014 - Pinnaroo

Saturday 3rd May Today we left our free camp to head to Pinnaroo. Very quiet day, just driving the 290kms over to my Sister in Laws in Pinnaroo. We arrived around 1.30pm. Parked the van under tree in Janet's front yard as we are going to stay in the house for two nights. Sunday 4th May We have decided to take the drive into Hahndorf as Steph wanted to see the town. Then we had lunch, pork rissoles and salad, then Dave had a Pa nap,...

Well, I was up early, and enjoyed a leisurely start to the day, but once Dave got up, we packed up and when ready to move out of the Free Camp beside the Murray, headed to the water tap and dump point, only when we pulled up, we were 3rd in line behind a huge Winnabago and another big Bus setup, which took so much water we didn't get to do ours until 11:30, but we did enjoy a chat while we waited, and we finally left at 12 noon. As we drove along the Mallee Hwy, we noticed how dry the districts are. It reminded me of the area around...
