Jun 5, 2018 - Day 3 Manangatang Vic to Moorook SA. 320 K’s.

We had a very good night. No other vans joined us. This morning we were able to depart by 0900 and head west towards Ouyen. Actually after Ouyen we kept heading west on the Mallee Hwy as far as Pinnaroo. Here we turned right and carried on for another 103 K’s to the delightful town of Loxton. Here we met with our travelling companions, Antoinette and Bob from the Illawarra region of NSW. Together we did grocery shopping to replace the items we were not allowed to bring through the quarantine area. Then some lunch before moving on to Moorook...

May 1, 2012 - Moorook by the Murray

27th/28th/29th April At last, full service. Unfortunately we are moving on today.Had a great week at Buronga Riverside Caravan Park. Very relaxing watching the paddle steamers up and down the Murray. If you around this area, we highly recommend this park. Today we will be travelling to Moorook where we will spend the night. We have to go through quarantine checks at Yamba, no fruit or veg across the border into South Aus.After the inspection we travelled on into Renmark to replenish supplies, from the same chain of stores we bought our...

Mar 24, 2008 - 24th March, Moorook near Berri

Day 8....up late to find Max & Barry flat out packing up....they were ready before we had finished our breakfast. Waved them off and got ourselves ready for the road. Decided to cross the river in Mannum on the ferry (see pic from previous update) and then follow the river eastwards and then north, thru' Bowhill, Purnong, Nildottie, Swan Reach to Blanchetown.
