We left Port Pirie & arrived at Moonta Bay on Friday around lunchtime. Moonta is a delightful, unspoiled coastal town (pop.3500), half way up the west coast of Spencer Gulf, on the York Peninsula and about 2 hours from Adelaide. We are staying in the Moonta Bay Caravan Park, which is located directly in front of Moonta Bay beach. The grounds are very well maintained and the amenities are among the best we have seen.
