Woke up this morning to rain on the roof! Very pleasant and very tempting to stay in bed! However, we did finally get ourselves moving to continue our drive around the Yorke Peninsula. We drove through Walleroo to have alook around- it is one of the 3 towns on the peninsula they refer to as the copper triangle – and you could see the remains of the old copper smelter by the foreshore. Jun 1, 2016 - Maitland, alas there was no Steamfest...

Today just to do something we visited Arthurton and Maitland. Arthurton is a crossroads village sporting a Pub, general store, free overnight camp and illuminated sports field… But I’m ahead of myself, earlier in the morning I tried to get some arty pics of the famous Ardrossan Red Cliffs the results are there for you to look at… I stopped on the way back to look at the stone picker, it had me intrigued. Jan 7, 2005 - Adelaide (Offically half way done my trip)

Hey guys, Well today I met up with Loradana, Thomas and Daniel again and we went to Melbas chocolate factory for the morning. It was a lot of fun. Really nice to chat and catch up with everything. We then headed to the Giant Rocking Horse. It is good to see that Canada isn't the only place where big stupid things are made to attract tourists!! ha ha.
