17/10-18/10 – Armed with our “cellar” stocked our next stop was Cadell, a citrus and grape growing area, we had to cross the Murray via ferry which is free and runs 24hours a day, there are 3 ferries between Cadell and Renmark. This camp ground is their oval and the couple that run it cannot do enough for you. Free use of washing machine, book exchange like in some of the big parks, herb garden, neat as a pin there are only 6 spaces for vans. They gave you an idea of what to do in the area and also suggested tea at their sporting club which...

Jul 25, 2012 - About to cross the Rubicon errrr Murray

Day 3 (I think)…… How time flies when you’re having fun…. Balranald – Cadell. Cadell is the speck on the Murray not far upstream from Morgan. Water is pumped out of the Murray River at Morgan and goes to the OUTBACK places like beautiful down town Pimba, Woomera and Whyalla get their water from Morgan.
