Today was our first miserable cold, raining and blowing a gale all day, day. From Lake Benanee we travelled thru Euston, Mildura and across the SA border where they still search your vehicle and we lost a couple of pieces of fruit as we had planned ahead. Yes the inspector wore his dirty shoes thru the van to check the fridge and all. From the border we went to Renmark to shop again. Then a quick trip onto Lake Bonny. Sitting here with a blocked nose, Don't know where that came from! hmm... Not the kinda blog I was after on my first few days of adventure! but hey.. something to write about right? It would have to be years since I last battled a flu.. Ok, so maybe I raved on about my "immunity" and health a little too much over the years and it's come back to bite me on the back side! Fair enough! but come on! timing is sh.t! Never the less I do feel as though it will be beaten in the snotty fields within the next 48 hrs, MAX! I got amazing troops on that...Jump to full entry

'tis a while since I updated my ramblings and we've travelled a few miles. Weleft Broken Hill a week ago but before leaving we checked out the Sculptures at the Living Desert. These sculptures were done by artists from around the world in 1993. You can work out what some of them represent, but others are a bit vague. We spent last weekend in Wentworth visiting Robin and her family. We had a lovely weekend, it was good to see Robin again and to see where she lives.
