Nov 23, 2010 - Redcliffe

23rd November Redcliffe We woke up and decided on North as a general direction, so set off. We noticed a tourist trail leading towards Stradbrooke island so we took the turn off from the motorway and followed it. We got distracted and took a little respite at a wineary and when we got back onto the same track ot was taking us in the wrong direction. We swapped directions and it took us back in a circle?!! Absolutely nothing to do with the wine. At all. We left the trail of the Dugong symbols and found a tourist information who told us it...

Jul 20, 2008 - Redcliffe, Moreton Island

Anja goes Down Under

May 26, 2008 - dont want to rub it it but... its another sunny day!

Today I went down to Clontarf to get my haircut, interesting for you all to know eh! Then I carried on cycling down to Clontarf Point and along some of the old original bridge to Sandgate. They have actually built a second bridge, but the traffic has outgrown the bridge so their in the process of building a 3rd bridge now with more lanes. The bridge I was on you can now only cycle or walk along, lots of signs telling you to be careful due to its precarious structure. People were fishing along the bridge too, so I went so far along and took...

May 23, 2008 - should have cycled more before i left devon... ouch

Cycled around the Peninusula on Bicycle that Richard got out of the good ole skip. Barrosa Street > Ashmole Road > somewhere?! > got on to coastal path around the peninsula. Went round to the Marina and then back on myself as far as Pelican Park. Gorgeous coastline, ooh and no nasty hills like cornwall/devon ha. Wanted to go for a swim in the sea but nobody else was in there so put me off! So instead went for a swim in a fake Lagoon at Settlement Cove which was nice. Did take my breath away when i first got in tho. Got back to Angie and...
