Decided not to get the air conditioning fixed as it would cost us $1700 smackers. We just forked out $1200 back in MacKay so we'll see how it goes. Drove to Paluma Range National Park. A narrow 17km winding road takes you to Paluma Village, ascending the Paluma Range and passing into the beautiful rainforest of the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area, enlivened by rushing streams and cascades during the wet season. Jul 22, 2007 - Paluma Push 2007 - Made it

We went, we pushed and we all made it. The official results are out. Daniel 2:42:13 167th place in the recreation category Susannah 3:21:30 231th place in the recreation category Steve 3:19:00 230th place in the recreation category The bike trip computer suggests 2:45 of riding. Maybe I did have a lot of bludge time. Daniel took off after checkpoint 1 and got to have snags and beer before we arrived at Hidden Valley. Susannah finished not too far behind me. Tis the Queens Birthday on Monday don't you know, so Rick has a three day weekend. Saturday, I drive around while Rick navigates and we look for houses. No luck finding a new nest for now. And I did not have a crash as they say, so he gives me my solo license.
