Friday March 6 Friday was a travel day. We did the laundry again this morning, a chore that needs doing even on holiday. Then we headed south, hopefully away from the cyclone “Hamish” that is tracking down the east coast of Queensland. We took a side trip up to Eungella National Park (pronounced “young gulla”) which claims to be the best place in Australia to see the elusive duck-billed platypus.
