Monday 8th June 2009 Do we move – yes! And we set off for the hinterland and Yandina and then the Blackall Range tourist drive. We pass through some lovely villages and try the walk at Mapleton Falls – but it’s not inspiring at all! Though the town is nice as is the very busy village of Montville – full of tourists on this the Queens Birthday – damn forgot to send her a card! Then we get a call to go and visit Ken and Elizabeth Smith in their B & B just outside of Maleny – so off we go and with excellent directions we are there in...

Sep 25, 2008 - Caloundra, Mooloolaba, Maroochydore and Maleny

Caloundra - went to see "Wall E" - movie. Went for a drive through some coastal towns to get a 'feel' for them, then went up into the high part of the hinterland and saw great views over the rolling green and coast. At Maleny we looked in vain for platypussses...platypiii...a platypus or two.

Jan 11, 2008 - The Animal Farm @ Maleny, Queensland Australia

The Animal Farm @ Maleny Melaney Queensland Australia January 4th - 7th In a little quaint town of Maleny we stayed a few days at an Animal Farm. This farm is run by a family with 7 children, yes I said 7, a lot of the children work on the farm with the family, and there is a lot of work to do. We would gather each morning by 7:30 to have a go at feeding the animals, milking the cows and collecting eggs. Tori you will notice from the lack of her face in the pictures chose not to join us in the mornings. She just thought it was to dirty, to...
