Aug 8, 2007 - A Trip through the Daintree
Today we went to Daintree rainforest and the National Park. The beach has beautiful golden sand and seemed quite untouched. In a 4WD we went off road and had quite a bumpy ride. This was along the Bloomfield track. An aboriginal gave us a brief tour of waterfalls and we learned a few of the indigenous customs. We went croc watching in the afternoon and saw a couple basking in the sun. They really seem quite harmless just lying there and we learned that they are naturally very shy...mmm!
