Aug 28, 2016 - at Bigriggen - Beaudesert for church

Sunday 28th August - church in Beaudesert Church time was 9:30am a half hour drive away and we were there in plenty of time. A great service taken by the young minister who was celebrating his birthday that day. He spoke on Nehemiah Ch4. We had morning tea with them before picking up some groceries and returning back to Bigriggen. We enjoyed the slower pace in the afternoon - lit a fire late in the afternoon and had nibbles watching the flames before heading for bed. Jan 7, 2014 - Beaudesert

Happy New Year. Brisbane put on a fireworks display at 8.30 pm on new years eve so we all went to South Bank to get a nice uncrowded spot to view the display. Most of the rest of the Brisbane population had the same idea so it was quite crowded. The display was well worth the trip in. Lots of police and security everywhere and the crowds were extremely well behaved. On the 3rd Jan we went to Beaudesert about 80 kms south of Brisbane for a few days. Hey guys, I'm just about to go to bed we just got back from hunting. On the way we saw a cute ring tail possum then the biggest scariest black bear ever, but the bear was wearing a rain coat? I stayed with some family members. I got to go hope to see you all soon in Sydney bye.

Oct 18, 2013 - Scenic Rim

14th October Must be moving day for us, we know this because the wind is strong and gusty. We are heading to Beaudesert where we will spend a few days catching up with family and having a look around the area. The drive is quite scenic with a variety of farms. Mostly cattle with some horses. We are seeing lush green paddocks with very contented animals standing belly deep in grass. Beaudesert is about 70 kms from Brisbane. The caravan park is quiet, very friendly and the sites are large. Within walking distance of the shopping centre....
