Ormiston Gorge is about 135 km west of Alice Springs so we made this a whole day trip. Again spectacular country in the West MacDonnell Ranges. There was still a large pool of water here despite this being the dry period and still a lot of fish in the water. The local dingo walked past while we were there – no doubt to see if there were any titbits available from tourists like us.
