Jul 21, 2006 - Kakadu National Park (KNP)

Vroeg opgestaan...om optijd te zijn voor de tour! Het eerste wat we deden naar een rit van een uur op twee, was een billabong (stilstaand water dat alleen verbonden wordt met een rivier met overstroming) waar krokodillen zaten. Daar hebben we in een bootje overheen gevaren, en gestopt tot zo'n 2 tot 3 meter van 4 meter lange zoutwaterkrokodillen?‼ Verder was het ook nog super mooi daar. Watervogels en een prachtig waterland. Daarna hebben we nog rots-schilderingen (heel indrukwekkend!) bekeken ver in het Kakadu National Park (KNP)De groep...

Mar 17, 2006 - Kakadu and Litchfield safari

I spend the last 3 days in the Litchfield and Kakadu National Parks, I had such a great time. There were only 8 of us in the group and we all got on very well. Our guide was also very nice and fun! First we went to Lichtfield National Park to look at the huge Termites Mounds, some of them are over 150 years old and over 4 meters high... After that We spent most of the 3 days walking in the bush to reach a waterfall or a water hole, we swam in most of them, that was really fun to walk around the forest and to cross rivers in your swiming...

Oct 14, 2005 - Australia - Kakadu, Katherine and Litchfield

Finally we were actually going to do something here! There were supposed to be 9 on this trip but 2 overslept so we left without them. Four of us were doing the five day trip and three leaving on the third day. Three of us were English, four were Japanese, and we had a driver/guide/cook, your stereotypical Aussie. Our first stop was at Adelaide River where we took a boat cruise to spot crocs. Once found, the guide hooked a big hunk of meat to a pole and waved it over the crocs head to make him jump for it. Jan 18, 2005 - Kakadu National Park

ENGLISH TEXT BELOW Hier je suis allee passer la journee dans le Parc National de Kakadu, sous eau saison des pluies oblige. C'etait tres chouette. J'ai vu des peintures aborigenes sur la roche, des crocos, wallabies, emus et toutes sortes de bestioles.
