Aug 29, 2006 - Kakadu

Back in Darwin now, I feel safer. The roads have no speed limit here and people drive pretty quick and dodge the infamous Aussie Road Trains (huge semi-trucks with really long carriages to transport), but for me, that is nothing. My biggest fear here in the 'Outback' are the BUGS. I hate them. We don't mix. Never will and my new perfume has a strong DEET fragrance. For now, we are nestled in humid Darwin. Aug 4, 2006 - Kakadu National Park

Kakadu is an amazing National Park in the northen territories. Loads of wildlife, gorges and waterfalls. Spent 3 days on a 'Safari' tour around the park and had a great time swimming in the plunge pools, hiking up to the top of waterfalls, standing under waterfalls and camping out in a swag under the stars.
