Aug 24, 2006 - Kakadu

We had a great time in Kakadu. It is a very interesting place noted for it's Indigenous Culture as much as the vegetation and wildlife. We camped at a couple of bush camps which were great although we did miss the pool in the afternoons when it was very hot. We managed to fit in a few walks to lookouts to view stunning scenery, we saw a lot of ancient aboriginal art, we went to several free ranger talks on Aboriginal life, we had a go at basket weaving and tried some bush tucker, we went croc-spotting and we got eaten alive by mossies.
