Tuesday - We woke up early to head farther south to Hunter Valley - a well known wine region. We went to the Wyndham Estates wineary because they offered a free tour at 11 am. We made it just in time to have a few tastings before the tour. Our tour guide, Sean, was very informative. We learned that the average vine lasts about 15-25 years. We also learned about the oak barrels that they store the really good wine in. After our tour we did the tasting. My favorite was the Shiraz, which they are known for.
