24th After a chilly start to the day we set out for Wellington. On the outskirts of town we see the balloons stretched across the horizon. The drive was uneventful and the scenery beautiful with the changing colours of the leaves. We are staying at the Wellington Caves caravan park. About 7 klms out of town. Lovely park very quite with large sites a bit hilly but we have managed. 25th Early rising this morning so we could attend the dawn service. We had a very restful, if somewhat cold, night at Worrie Reserve just outside Braidwood on Monday 22nd and woke to a beautiful clear and crisp morning on Tuesday 23rd. We had a minor mishap along the road to Yass, the bike carrier on the back of the caravan "popped" it's mountings so when we arrived at the truck stop in Yass we took the carrier off and folded the bikes and stored them inside the van. Mar 27, 2013 - We are finally on the road
We are finally on the road after a very early morning getting up at 4:00 in the morning. We are heading towards Cobar to our family reunion site. We are going to stay here for two nights. We have stopped at Wellington for breakfast. On the way we have passed 3 jails and a lot of farm animals. Hope everything is well at home. The Sherley's

Wollongong to Wellington We're on the road again! This time our journey will take us north through outback New South Wales and Queensland, on to Mt.Isa and then to Lawn Hill National Park (almost into the Northern Territory). Turning east we will then head to the coast and Cairns, north again to Cooktown, and then gradually making our way south – the exact route yet to be decided!
